Dean Kinney is the President and CEO of the HomeSlice Group, a conglomerate of small businesses operating mostly in the Sturgis and Rapid City area. These include HomeSlice Creative, Loud American Roadhouse and HomeSlice Vacation Properties, among others. Dean Kinney is a corporate board member and Vice President of New Rushmore Radio Inc. The broadcast company owns and operates six radio stations in Rapid City and Sturgis. In this capacity, Mr. Kinney is the longtime General Manager of KBHB radio in Sturgis where he has worked for 25 years. Mr. Kinney's companies employ more than 60 full and part-time people in the Black Hills and over 175 persons at peak summer season. Dean is a past-president of the Sturgis Area Chamber of Commerce, a former board member of Sturgis Rally Charities, a past-chair of the Sturgis United Way campaign, and is a former member of the local United Way allocation committee. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the High Plains Heritage Center in Spearfish and is the Chairperson of Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, Inc. Dean was born and raised in Sturgis, has lived here all of his life and built his businesses in the Black Hills. Mr. Kinney and his wife, Toni, live in Boulder Canyon.
Susan Johnson is currently the CEO of Black Hills Central Reservations, a voice and web based reservation service for Western South Dakota incorporated in 1998. Previously, she managed the state tourism office for three governors and was the executive director of the SD Parks and Wildlife Foundation where she raised funds for major park developments in South Dakota. Johnson serves on the board of Sturgis Motor Cycle Rally, Inc., the Black Hills Air Service Task Force, is the President of the Spearfish Canyon Foundation and is a founding member of the Northern Hills Alliance for Children.
Rod Bradley has multiple business interests in Sturgis including the Oasis Bar and Fireside Lounge in downtown Sturgis. Rod is also a partner in a resort property in Sedona, AZ. Rod served as the Vice President of the Downtown Sturgis Foundation and Business Improvement District (BID) Board of Directors for two years until being elected to the Sturgis City Council in 2015. Rod grew up in Sturgis and is currently raising two young children (Mya and JJ) in Sturgis with his wife Cassie.
Jerry Berkowitz is the President of Good Sports Inc., the primary licensee of Sturgis Motorcycle Rally Inc. Good Sports is a 30 year old company specializing in original motorcycle apparel, based in Manchester, CT. Our whole team (over 100 strong) works together to keep both wheels turning for all of our customers. I am proud to be a vendor at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally since the mid 80's and have had a store on Main Street since 2005.
Ross is a lifelong resident of the Sturgis area. He has been active in the Sturgis community serving in many capacities at his church, having served as president of the local School Board, Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of the National Sheepdog finals for 3 years and currently serves as chairman of the Regional Health Network Board of Directors. He owns and operates a cattle ranch and campground near Sturgis. Ross has been married for 41 years, has 2 grown children with one Granddaughter.

I grew up on a ranch 60 miles east of Sturgis. Attended High School in Sturgis and college at Black Hills State in Spearfish. I have been a CPA for 30 years and have had my own CPA firm for 28 years. I have been a part of the Sturgis community my entire life. I have served and continue to serve on several nonprofit boards. I am the Vice-Chairman of the Black Hills Area Community Foundation; Treasurer of the Ups of Downs family support group; Treasurer of the Sturgis Area Chamber of Commerce Charitable Foundation; and Secretary/Treasurer of the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, Inc. I am a past president of the Sturgis Area Chamber of Commerce.
